Security classes

Here you will find information about safety and different safety classes for our steel doors.

SS-EN 1627 class RC2

Resists attack with simple tools, trial time 3 min within a total of 15 min. Pressure against locks and corners is 6 kN and 1.5 kN respectively. Fends off burglary attempts with small, simpler hand tools. Attack time amounts to 3 min effective time, over a 15-minute period.

SS-EN 1627 class RC3

Resists attack with smaller tools but also with crowbar. Trial time 5 min within a total of 20 min. Press against locks and against corners 6 kN and 3 kN respectively. Resists burglary attempts by the "normal thief", equipped with crowbar.

SS-EN 1627 class RC4

Resists attack with powerful hand tools such as crowbar, axe, bolt cutter, hacksaw, sheet metal shears and electric drill. Trial time 10 min within a total of 30 min. Press against locks and corners 10 kN and 6 kN respectively. Attack time is 15 min effective time.

SS-EN 1627 class RC5

Resists hand and machine-driven tools including angle grinder with 125 mm disc, tiger saw, drill with hard metal drill, etc.m. Attack time is 15 min effective time.

LPS 1175 SR 3

Resists attack against intentional burglary using bodily force and a selection of attack options such as axe, chisel, crowbar, gas flame, etc.m.

LPS 1175 SR 4

Resists attack against planned burglary with the help of a selection of tools such as axe, sledgehammer, wedges, steel disc, jigsaw, etc.m.
